Up 2 is an American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Bob Peterson, the film is a sequel to the 2009 film Up and features the voices of Ralph Fiennes and Jordan Nagai, with the new voices of Lana Condor, Reba McEntire, Alex Carazes, Annie Murphy and Toni Colette In the film, Carl and Russell must go on a journey across the city to rescue and find Dug after being dog-napped. The film was released on February 4, 2025 by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It recieved mostly generally postive reviews from critics and it was a box-office success, grossing over $1.1 billion on a $200 million budget.
Synopsis
Following the events of the first film, Dug is now living with Carl in the suburbs in the new home, things go wrong as Dug gets dog-napped by Annie Muntz and taken to the city, Carl and Russell Must Team Up with Abigail, Alpha, Gamma, Beta, Max, Lucy, Lucille, Anne and Daisy the Dog on a quest to find him before it's too late.
