Nostalgia Critic x Pokémon: The Kingdom of Order is a 2023 Japanese-American live-action/anime action-adventure fantasy comedy film co-produced by Channel Awesome, The Pokémon Company, Walden Media, Toho Co, Ltd, Chernin Entertainment, and Film 44 and distributed by Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures. Directed by Peter Berg from a screenplay by Berg and Atsuhiro Tomioka, the film is a crossover between the American web series Nostalgia Critic created by Doug Walker and the Japanese anime series Pokémon created by Satoshi Tajiri, Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori. It stars Walker reprising his role as the Nostalgia Critic, a foul-mouthed movie critic who reviews films based upon nostalgic franchises, with Rob Walker, Malcolm Ray, Tamara Chambers, Jim Jarosz, Walter Banasiak, Heather Reuz, Aiyanna Wade, Robert de Niro, Mila Jonovich, Brad Pitt, Harvey Guillén, Ken Watanabe, Olivia Rodrigo, and Christopher Walken in live-action roles and Sarah Natochenny, Ikue Ōtani, Haven Paschall, Mike Liscio Jr., Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld, Bill Rogers, Emily Bauer, Michelle Knotz, Eric Stuart, James Carter Cathcart, Catrin Lloyd Bollard, Jordan Reynolds, Roger Craig Smith, H. D. Quinn, Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat, SarahtheCatlove, Katy Perry, Dan Green, Rie Kugimiya, Billy Bob Thompson, and Romi Park make up the Pokémon voice cast. It focuses on Nostalgia Critic teaming up with Ash Ketchum, the main protagonist of the Pokémon anime, and his friends to save the spacetime continuum when a villainous collaboration creates a rift between the real world and the Pokémon world.
