Violence & Gore[]

Intensity: Moderate 🧑‍🦱

Intense science fiction action violence include the use of laser guns, physical violence such as kicks and fantastical punches with no blood detail.

Multiple Waddle Dee guards are kicked in the face and their bodies are thrown around. No blood or genuine violence.

Shadow Kirby is shown twisting Dedede's hand, making Dedede yell in pain.

Waddle Dee agency members usually require a big weapon in every one of their scenes which MAY be unsettling for younger audiences.

Level of violence: 8/10. Moderate action violence. Really close to getting a PG-13 rating.

A character is killed, this scene can be heavy to some.

The violence is much more intense than the first two movies.

Occasional scenes showing death including one of Shadow Ribbon, and Meta Knight sacrifices himself.

Dark Meta Knight is disintegrated by an energy overload by getting skyrocketed by the shock of a piece of Super Kirby’s substance.

Whilst in the Commander Dee hologram disguise, Shadow Kirby mistakes Ribbon for Commander Dee and knocks Ribbon out, sending her to the hospital, worrying Kirby and making Kirby to hate his friends and begins to get revenge on Shadow Kirby. Shadow Kirby doesn't care about his actions at first but does show remorse later on, Ribbon does ultimately survive, with her left arm healing in an arm cast.

Profanity[]

Intensity: Mild 👦

Single uses of "bad ass", "darn", "crap", "jerk", "heck", "idiot" and "god".

"God," "heck," "crap," "darn," "ass," and "jerk" respectively.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking[]

Intensity: None 👶

Two characters lick the loose pieces of substance of other characters for a 'jolt.' This is purely for comedic effect.

Frightening & Intense Scenes[]

Intensity: Moderate 🧑‍🦱

Pretty bold/adventurous movie.

There's some intense battles during the movie. Some battles may be too intense for younger audiences.

There are a few jump scares. This may be a bit too frightening to younger children watching the movie.

Kirby tried to enter a sphere-like laser over Waddle Dee H. Q. and says he won't make it, referring to him being injured severely.

This film is much darker than the first two.

For kids/tweens and up.

Shadow Kirby gets nostalgic when he returns to a base that is now defunct because it is where he met his best friend Shadow Ribbon, and remembers all the heartwarming times he had with her. This scene is poignant.

Shadow Ribbon dies in an explosion. (Offscreen)

Some scenes of peril, including characters saving the Earth from a laser and losing consciousness and flashback scenes where a character loses their life.

Shadow Kirby scares Kirby, Bandana Dee, King Dedede, and Marx in an abandoned Waddle Dee military base.

Shadow Kirby soon starts to rethink about his terrible past after Shadow Ribbon getting killed, being betrayed and his loneliness and soon falls from space, sacrificing himself to protect the planet from The Eclipse Cannon. It was revealed at the last official minute of the movie in a post-credit scene that Shadow Kirby survived and picked up his Limiter Star Rings.

During the end of the 2nd act of the movie Ribbon is punched by Shadow Kirby and seemingly dies, Kirby finds out and starts to cry begging her to wake up, shocking and upsetting, though she is alive in the end.
