Gamera vs the Triffids

Story/Script/Ideas[]

  • The movie begins at, where a meteor shower is happing up in the night skies of Japan. The citizens are at aww with such a sight, unaware the Triffid spores landing in hidden parts of Japan. At the same time, a volcano erupts somewhere near the Yonaguni Monument, with Gamera's roar being heard from somewhere in the volcano, just before the title of the movie.
  • A few days later, a man named James Daviad discovered an unknown plant in a Japanese forest and brings it to a Japanese Greenhouse that he works at.
  • The Troop Triffids attack and killed some of the Japanese citizens.
  • Back at a military headquarters of some kind, a woman named Ginko Amano shares info about the Triffids and how to kill them, especially certain weapons to kill them.
  • The military arrived to save the citizens and used certain weapons the exact weapons (that Ginko Amano suggested) to kill them. As things start being well, suddenly the Tall Triffids appear. The weapons have no effect on the Tall Triffids. Ginko Amano is shocked to see that the weapons have no effect on the Tall Triffids. Just when things start looking grim, suddenly Gamera appears out of nowhere and kills all the Tall Triffids in the area. The military goes on the defense, just in case Gamera decides to attack them. Gamera flies away in his saucer form.
  • James David arrives at the greenhouse, devastated to see the greenhouse is destroyed (by the Troop Triffids), with all the plants tried up (due to the Empress Triffid in her pod form draining them dry) and the unknown plant gone. The military arrives to secure the area because of the Troop Triffids attack. Ginko Amano also arrives and suggest bringing James back to the military headquarters since he's the only survivor of the green house.
  • Back at the military headquarters, James tells everyone about the unknown plant that he found. Ginko explained o James that the unknown plant he found was actually the pod of the Empress Triffids and asks for his help. But James refuses to help because civilization cause deforestation and pollution. One of the military soldiers informs Ginko that the Triffids at a certain area are acting strange.
  • Ginko, James, and the military arrived to where the Triffids are gathering at. The Triffids are circling around the Empress Triffid pod. James recognizes the pod as the same unknown plant that he found in the forest. The pod starts draining all the triffids dry. James realized that it was the pod that drained all the plants at the greenhouse. The pod slowly becomes the Empress Triffids. Sudden Gamera appears from the sky, heading towards the Empress Triffid. The two kaiju take their battle up in the air. The Empress Triffid starts spraying an unknown spore at Gamera, causing him to be weaken and he slowly fall back on the ground. James starts feeling sorry for Gamera and decided to help Ginko and the military in destroying the Empress Triffid.
  • James is at a laboratory (provided by the military), finishing the cure for the spores on Gamera and a serum that could weaken the Empress Triffid. Ginko enters the lab to check on James. James confirms that he has finished both the cure and the serum. He them tells his back story about his childhood home (which was surrounded by nature) being destroyed by deforestation and pollution. Ginko reveals to James that she's an alien from the planet Paira, where nature and civilization coexist in piece. He r world was invaded by the Triffids a few years ago. Thought the Pairans where able to word off the Triffids (because Paira's atmosphere isn't the same as Earth and don't cause the Triffids and the Empress Triffids to grow giant), the Pairan fear that the Triffids would infest other worlds with life. She then tells James that both nature and civilization are important, just before she leaves the lab.
  • While some scientists use the cure on Gamera to cure him from the spores, James, Ginko, and the military prepare themselves for battle against the Empress Triffid.
  • The Empress Triffid is at the center of a Japanese city, laying triffid seed to create a new army of triffids. The military sent drone planes to distract the Empress Triffid. While the military destroys all the seeds. Just when James, Ginko, and the military are prepared to fire the missile (with the serum in it) at the Empress Triffid, the last remaining Troop Triffids start attacking. Though the Troop Triffids are all killed, the missile is too damaged from the attack to fire. Suddenly Gamera appears from the sky and prepares for battle against the Empress Triffid. The dodges the Empress's spore attacks. Ginko then transforms into her true form and grows giant size. She and Gamera teamed up against the Empress Triffid. She shoves the missile down into the Empress's through, weaken her. Gamera kills the Empress Triffid using his fire stream. Gamera roars in triumph, just before he leaves. Ginko transform back into her disguise form and thanks everyone for their help. Suddenly the Pairan spaceship appears and beams Ginko up towards it, just before the spaceship leaves earth. The movie ends with James looking up at the sky, accepting civilization as part of life.

Creatures[]

Kaiju[]

  • Gamera: A 180 feet tall turtle like kaiju who can fly. He's also created by the Atlanteans.
  • Triffids:
    • Troop Triffids: Horse size Triffids. They may be slow, but they use their long tongues to catch their pray.
    • Tall Triffids: These Triffids grow bigger due to the earth's atmosphere is stronger than the atmosphere of their world. They are 1/3rd shorter than Gamera.
    • Empress Triffid: A Giant size Triffid resembling a dragon:
      • Head: Snapdragon Flower
      • Wings: Alligator Plant
      • Tail: Cape Sundew
      • Body: Cucumber
      • Legs and Feet: Roots

Aliens[]

  • Pairan: Starfish like aliens.
