Fluvsies: The Movie (known in some countries as Fluvsies) is a 2026 American 2.5D machinima fantasy action-adventure film produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, in association with TutoToons Productions and Lord Miller Productions, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is based on a pet game of the same name. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, from a screenplay written by Derek Connolly, and a story written by Charlie Kaufman.
By 2023, they were discussing a Fluvsies film, and in February 2024, TutoToons announced that they will produce it alongside Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, with Lord and Miller attached as directors, producers, and writers. Originally planned as a 2D animated film, it was then shifted to a new animation style that would be "in the same vein as the source material". Sony Pictures Imageworks, Wētā FX, and Cartoon Saloon are responsible for handling animation and visual effects services for the film. The cinematographer, John Schwartzman, used a combination of IMAX 65 mm and 65 mm large-format film, including, for the first time in an animated film, scenes in IMAX black-and-white film photography.
Fluvsies: The Movie was theatrically released in April 2, 2026 in 2D, 3D, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, IMAX, IMAX 3D, 4DX, and ScreenX by Sony Pictures Releasing, and gained universal acclaim from critics, audiences, and fans alike, praising its story, screenplay, animation, visuals, voice acting, action sequences, faithfulness to the source material, heart, character appearances, humor, emotional weight, subject matter, entertainment value, and Hans Zimmer and Brian Eno's musical score. With a worldwide gross of $5.78 billion against a budget of $680 million, it became the second highest-grossing film of 2026 and the fourth highest-grossing animated film of all time. It also broke multiple box-office records, including the biggest worldwide opening weekend for an animated film and the highest-grossing film based on a video game. Fluvsies: The Movie won numerous awards, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song at the 99th Academy Awards, 54th Annie Awards, and 84th Golden Globe Awards.
Since its release, it is widely considered one of the greatest and most influential animated movies ever made. Many critics considered the film a "blueprint" for many modern kid-friendly video game movies. It is also a pivotal film in animation and visual effects, particularly its machinima style, as well as being regarded as the most iconic machinima film of all time. The film had a significant effect on popular culture worldwide.
Synopsis[]
- In the whimsical world of Fluvtopia, this story revolves around Midnight, a popular rockstar and a fluvsie with big dreams, who sets off on a quest to save her homeland from the sinister king of The Guileful. Accompanied by her loyal allies, Midnight navigates through various magical realms to gather up powerful allies and get revenge on The Guileful on defeating the goddess.

There was once a planet that was far, far, far, far, far, far, far.... very far from this universe known as the Fluvsiverse. Every single fluvsie calls this little planet home. This planet was formed after a meteor collapsed into a pink meteor millions of years ago. In the magical world of Fluvtopia, where fluffy and colorful creatures known as Fluvsies live, a dark cloud looms on the horizon. The once vibrant and peaceful land is threatened by the raining minions of The Guileful. Sneaky little rats, sly, tall ferrets and big, strong raccoons including the almighty king, King Rakoon I invaded Fluvtopia. The fluvsies thought it was the end of their home but that all changed when the goddesses, Rainbow, Ruby and Star, came to save the day. Star, the most powerful of the trio, let out a huge tractor beam that not only destroyed the popularity of The Guileful and King Rakoon I but also destroyed Star. When she passed away, the moon symbol on her belly, broke apart into three pieces, sent to the future Luna, Space and Midnight.
Many years passed and the Fluvsiverse is increasing its population. Meanwhile in an underground burrow, The Guileful along with their new king, King Rakoon II, found out that the Fluvsoul-Meter for his Mechkoon is low. He called every gaze, every fesnyng, every colony of the army with his shofar. As they were about to start, they were catapulted by a secret compartment and sent them to the different realms and islands (the islands seen in Fluvsies: Pocket World).

- Pinky (voiced by Tara Strong) - A pink heart-themed fluvsie who is kind-hearted with a bit of spunk. She can also be a daredevil sometimes and makes things hard for Midnight, who would prefer Pinky be a bit less risky. Somehow, Pinky always ends up on the most fun adventures!
- Foxy (voiced by Nolan North) - An orange fire-themed fluvsie who is courageous, adventurous and a bit short-tempered. Foxy’s favorite treat is chocolate cupcakes.
- Goldie (voiced by Kate Higgins) - A yellow star-themed fluvsie who is spunky and smart and loves shiny stuff. Goldie is the biggest fashion diva of all Fluvsies.
- Leafie (voiced by Melanie Minichino) - A green nature-themed fluvsie who is calm and collected and loves nature. Her favorite hobby is recycling!
- Frost (voiced by Alicyn Packard) - A blue winter-themed fluvsie who can be a bit shy at times but is very sweet and gentle once you get to know her. Frost can’t wait for the first snow!
- Princess (voiced by Alex Kelly) - A purple princess-themed fluvsie who is glamorous, elegant, fashionable, and a bit sassy.
- Fairy (voiced by Molly Quinn) - A rainbow unicorn-themed fluvsie who is one of the members of Midnight's allies. Never went to art school, but the Fluvsie is very talented.
- Midnight (voiced by Cherami Leigh) - A black rainbow star-themed fluvsie who is Angel's young sister. While other Fluvsies can be loud and messy, Midnight’s constant quest for peace and quiet leads it to find joy in the Fluvsies’ giant vegetable garden. She is a popular rockstar and she acquires one piece of the Moonstar Stone. When they combine the three pieces, they will turn into Spirit Star.
- Rakoon Jr. (voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey) - A small raccoon who was abandoned by his family until King Rakoon found him under the snow. He later betrayed The Guileful and joined the clan of fluvsies.
- Grape (voiced by Halston Sage) - A white and lavender grape themed fluvsie who works as a shopkeeper at the FluvMall. Grape won the “The Most Beautiful Purple Hair” contest.
- Stardust (voiced by Kristen Bell) - A pink and white star themed fluvsie who uses stardust for her jewelry. She is also a BFF to Candy.
- Pearl (voiced by Wendee Lee) - A pink pearl themed fluvsie who uses pearls from her pet clams to make pearl necklaces.
- Creamy (voiced by Brina Palencia) - A strawberry cream themed fluvsie who is also a chef at Puffieclouds and Savorygoods.
- Diamond (voiced by Katie Gill) - A glittering pale lavender diamond heart themed fluvsie who makes diamond jewelry for Stardust. Diamond loves spinning in the light, creating a dazzling sparkle show. It was once rumored that Diamond was made by an ancient fluvsie known as Iaspis who sacrificed her heart for Diamond.
- Luna (voiced by Florence Pugh) - A navy dark blue moon themed fluvsie who is one of the Legendary Fluvsies and she is a Half-Goddess. She writes poems and reads it to baby fluvsies as a hobby. She also has one piece of the Moonstar Stone. When they combine the three pieces, they will turn into Spirit Star.
- Angel (voiced by Asa Butterfield) - A light brown heart themed fluvsie who is also Half-God and Midnight's big brother. He loves collecting heart-shaped stones.

- Mouse (voiced by Donovan Patton, imitating his CatRat voice) - A mouse who is one of the servants of King Rakoon. He is also in The Guileful.
- Raccoon (voiced by Ryan McPartlin) - A strong, big raccoon who is one of the servants of King Rakoon and the prefects of The Guileful.
- Ferret (voiced by Asa Butterfield) - A clumsy ferret who is also King Rakoon's sidekick and servant, who can constantly get fights into the other servants.
- King Rakoon II (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) - The strong, second and the most powerful leader of The Guileful.
- King Rakoon I (no voice actor) - The first leader of The Guileful who died during the powerful tractor beam from Star.

- Strawberry (voiced by Andrea Libman) - A red strawberry-themed fluvsie who is shy but embodies the true essence of kindness in the Fluvsie community. Strawberry loves summer because it’s the season of strawberries!
- Dear (voiced by Janice Kawaye) - An orange deer-themed fluvsie who is very chill but has a hint of "always prepared" when it comes to basketball.
- Sunny (voiced by Hynden Walch) - A yellow sun-themed fluvsie who is energetic and is Sparkles' younger sister. Sunny’s hugs are famous in the Fluvsies’ world! When it gives a hug, it feels like being wrapped in the warmest, softest blanket.
- Draco (voiced by Dante Basco) - A green dragon-themed fluvsie whose appearance may look fierce but is actually quite kind and timid. Draco also loves themed parties – the wilder the theme, the better!
- Cloudy (voiced by Any Bruckner) - A cyan cloud-themed fluvsie who despite causing a bit of mischief, her charm and lovable personality make it a cherished friend. Cloudy finds pure joy in cloud-gazing!
- Puffie (voiced by Sofia Carson) - A pink cotton candy-themed fluvsie who is friends with Strawberry, Grape, Creamy, Scoops, Daisy and Muffin. She can cook and bake very well. She currently owns a 5-star restaurant in Fluvtown known as, "Puffieclouds and Savorygoods".
- Crystal (voiced by Scott Menville) - A green crystal-themed fluvsie who can be a bit snarky but cares about the others. Crystal doesn't even realize that his head is adorned with a crystal horn.
- Pixie (voiced by Tom Kenny) - A green dragonfly-themed fluvsie who is the founder of the Fluvsies Book Club. He is also a librarian and reads books and stories to baby and toddler fluvsies. His favorite book is The Giving Tree (Shel Silverstein).
- Bolt (voiced by Charlie Finn) - An indigo lightning-themed fluvsie who is energetic and hyperactive and can run very fast. He is always careful when skating, wearing protective gear like a helmet, knee pads, and wrist guards.
- Candy (voiced by Candi Milo) - A purple candy-themed fluvsie who has a sweet tooth and loves eating. She is a BFF to Stardust. She knows lots of facts about movies and how they’re made, too.
- Star (voiced by Kelly Stables) - A purple unicorn-themed fluvsie who is the mother of Midnight and Angel. When she was a toddler fluvsie, she plays in the theater. She collapsed and passed away after the battle of Fluvsies vs. The Guileful when she led out a tractor beam. What's left of her is the three pieces of Moonstar Stone.
- Rainbow (voiced by Aviv Buchler) - One of the Goddesses of the Fluvsiverse. Her curly hair smells like vanilla beans and her kind and adorable nature makes her a cordial and a cherished friend. Rainbow makes a wish whenever it sees a rainbow.
- Shadow (voiced by Scarlett Johansson) - A dark purple and gray bat themed fluvsie who loves Halloween a lot and sometimes scares the fluvsies. Despite being spooky, she is cordial and caring for toddler fluvsies. She also plays in a rock band with Lemonade, Roxie, and Ziggy.
- Ruby (voiced by Mary K. Blige) - A rose red themed fluvsie who is one of the Goddesses of the Fluvsiverse. Despite her being a bit sassy, she is very dignified, vigilant and well protected.
- Butterfly (voiced by TBA) - A purple-orange butterfly themed fluvsie who is besties with Ladybug. She loves pistachio ice-cream.
- Ladybug (voiced by TBA) - A red, white and black ladybug themed fluvsie who can recognize a flower by its smell alone! She also has 7 ladybugs as her pet- Wait, I think I read this wrong... A WHOPPING 7000 LADYBUGS!? Geez, that's a lot.
- Brushie (voiced by TBA) - A blue-green brush themed fluvsie who currently owns a Make-Up shop at the mall. She is the best stylist in the Fluvsiverse!
- Mermaid (voiced by TBA) A purple mermaid fluvsie who is a BFF to Pearl. Mermaid loves water but can’t swim, so it always wears arm floaties. She collects items from the beach and gives them to friends.
- Honey (voiced by TBA) A bee themed fluvsies who is a gardener and offers the best plant care advice to all Fluvsies.
- Lily (voiced by TBA) A purple lily themed fluvsie who is afraid of heights, so it doesn't enjoy jumping on the trampoline.
- Daisy (voiced by TBA) - A blue and white cow themed fluvsie who is sometimes shy but a very observant fluvsie.
- Bowie (voiced by TBA) - A pink with many colorful dots bow themed fluvsie who currently owns a clothing store at the mall. She is BFFs with Brushy. Here's a fact: she has won first place in a Lindy Hop dance competition.
- Roxie (voiced by Taylor Swift) - A teal music themed fluvsie who is the part of the Legendary Fluvs. She loves playing the electric guitar and is a fan of rock music, thus, she is friends with Midnight, Ziggy, Lemonade and Shadow.
- Scoops (voiced by TBA) A lavender ice-cream themed fluvsie who would love to own a birdie companion.
- Ziggy (voiced by TBA) - A dark purple and white skunk themed fluvsie who would love to become a rock star just like Midnight.
- Cookie (voiced by TBA) A cookie themed fluvsie who spends hours each morning perfecting its hairstyle! She also loves going shopping!
- Pop (voiced by TBA) - A light blue balloon themed fluvsie who is BFFs with Midnight. Pop just can’t stand the sound of balloons popping.
- Coraline (voiced by TBA) - A purple coral themed fluvsie who is with the Way of the Waves group. She is known as the Princess of the Coral Sea and the leader. She would love to visit Japan and see sakuras and she loves making origamis.
- Feather (voiced by TBA) - A orange feather themed fluvsie who is also in the Way of the Waves group. Even though he is the host of the flying game dimension, Feather hides the fact that he actually afraid of heights, but it doesn’t stop this Fluvsie from seeking out new experiences; instead, this pet finds creative ways to overcome or work around it, showing bravery and determination.
- Palmie (voiced by TBA) - A green palm tree themed fluvsie who is also in the Way of the Waves group. Palmie loves beach vacations and loves to make sandcastles. His favorite food is coconuts. His BFF is Jelly.
- Jelly (voiced by TBA) - A blue jellyfish themed fluvsie who is also in the Way of the Waves group. Jelly always chills with Palmie and does the same hobby as he does.
- Lemonade (voiced by TBA) - A pink with colorful splattered straw themed fluvsie who is also in the Way of the Waves group. She is a professional at making juices and she used to own a juice market where she makes lemonade and other juices. Lemonade's favorite drinks are lemonade & pineapple juice. Currently, she is working with Puffie with the drinks. She is also in a rock band.
- Orange (voiced by TBA) - An orange themed fluvsie who loves fruits a lot and oranges being its favorite but hates marshmallows.
- Polar (voiced by TBA) - A baby blue, pink snowflake themed fluvsie who is Frost's young sister. The pet would love to visit Antarctica one day, she can build wonderful snowmen and can notice how beautiful snowflakes are.
- Space (voiced by Gideon Adlon) - A pink fur with yellow sparkles planet themed fluvsie. She is friends with Luna and Midnight, and she also has one piece of the Moonstar Stone. When they combine the three pieces, they will turn into Spirit Star.
- R.B.U. (voiced by TBA) - A teal scientist themed fluvsie who owns a laboratory, "Experimental Fluvs" and R.B.U. stands for "Rainbows, butterflies, unicorns" a.k.a. her catchphrase.
- Lucky (voiced by TBA) - A green clover themed fluvsie. Whenever she sees a gift or something a lucky person would have like a horseshoe, rabbit foot, etc., her clover on her forehead would light up.
- Bubbles (voiced by TBA) - A yellow bubble themed fluvsie who has a special power where she can make bubbles that doesn't pop unless by force. She is very friendly but not much of a team player when it comes to games; prefers to play solo.
- Bounce (voiced by TBA) - An orange-white basketball themed fluvsie who loves basketball a lot and has a major crush on Dear. Constantly tries to assemble the Fluvsies basketball team and he is also a coach and teaches younger fluvsies to exercise.
- Spark (voiced by TBA) - A purple with blue and yellow party themed fluvsie who always, and I mean ALWAYS love parties. She also sneezes out confetti.
- Blossom (voiced by TBA) - A purple and white flower themed fluvsie who loves sitting under the cherry blossoms. Blossom is a thoughtful and quiet Fluvsie, often found deep in concentration with its little head filled with ideas and daydreams. She also has a hard time listening to fluvsies.
- Acorn (voiced by TBA) - A scarlet colored squirrel themed fluvsie who even though he is a squirrel, he scares other squirrels away from the cherry blossoms and equip as many acorns as possible. He also stashes items in random places. While Acorn might not be the best at remembering where it left things, other Fluvsies find its treasures endearing, especially when Acorn triumphantly shows them a "new" find, only for everyone to realize it was collected weeks ago!
- Firefly (voiced by TBA) - A black, yellow and white firefly themed fluvsie who's wings and antennae produces light so the Fluvsies (including the toddler Fluvsies) wouldn't get lost. She is also a tour guide and a guard. Doesn’t like lamps because Firefly wants to be the brightest thing in the room. She also has a lot of energy in the evenings
- Rusty (voiced by TBA) - A white, orange and purple red panda themed fluvsie who long ago trained martial arts. Rusty has a special place where it secretly hides snacks. He is so powerful; he can defeat 250-350 or more of The Guileful's minions!
- Bambu (voiced by TBA) - A panda themed fluvsie who is Rusty's cousin, and he lives in the city. He also learnt from Rusty on martial arts.
- Kappa (voiced by TBA) - A kappa themed fluvsie who is always loyal to the group. Its most favourite food is cucumbers.
- Calico (voiced by TBA) - A calico cat themed fluvsie who is one of the cutest fluvsies to ever exist. She runs the Fluvsies Japanese Fan Club, loves to sleep a lot and is really interested in economics.
- Kitsu (voiced by TBA) - A rainbow kitsu themed fluvsie who is one of the strongest and most determined fluvsie of all time. She also hides the fact that she is a goddess. She is a famous influencer who creates content by singing, playing with toys, and sharing daily life in the Fluvsies Japanese fan club. She also knows everything, like a walking encyclopedia. Just ask Kitsu the hardest question, and she can answer it for you.
- Liana (voiced by Zooey Deschanel) A flower themed fluvsie who is an irresistibly cute and easily excited Fluvsie with a charm that melts hearts wherever it goes. She always wakes up early in the morning to see the sunrise and to make her ears bloom.
- Fin (voiced by TBA) - A goldfish themed fluvsie who wants to be the coolest Fluvsie on the beach and, because of that, often acts funny. Fin is a very protective (sometimes too much) and disciplined lifeguard. Most of the time, Fin watches after water-loving Wavie.
- Wavie (voiced by TBA) - A wave themed fluvsie who can surf waves all day long. He is friends with Spark. They are good friends despite having almost opposite personalities.
- Octo (voiced by Lana Condor) - A purple octopus themed fluvsie who is often found swimming in secret caves or searching for hidden treasures on the ocean floor while its friends play on the surface. No matter how twisted or tricky the path, this Fluvsie never gets lost. She can also turn into a krakenfluv, a mythical creature and only 0.0001% of the fluvsie population have the soul of the krakenfluv.
- Bloom (voiced by TBA) - A rose themed fluvsie who are friends with Liana and Blossom. Bloom has a very pleasant scent, but nobody knows where the smell comes from, but some guess that Bloom secretly makes perfume from the flowers it collects. However, Bloom has never confirmed or denied this idea.
- Koa (voiced by TBA) - A koala themed fluvsie who loves excitement but isn’t a big fan of loud noises, like thunder. It prefers the soft sounds of wind through the trees or the gentle rush of a stream. Koa prefers slow, happy days where it can take its time to enjoy nature and play.
- Trixie (voiced by TBA) - A fox themed fluvsie who loves organizing hidden treasure hunts. It buries sparkly gems, tiny trinkets, and colorful stones for other Fluvsies to find, leaving playful clues along the way. She also helps with Acorn. While Trixie loves playful chaos, it’s not a fan of clutter. This Fluvsie enjoys tidying up the house and arranging things neatly.
- Spikey (voiced by TBA) - A cactus themed fluvsie who is fascinated by brightly colored feathers and loves to collect them. It also enjoys making berry juice for all Fluvsies. Best friends with Gigi and Lemonade.
- Tora (voiced by TBA) - A tiger themed fluvsie who is a master fort builder, crafts cozy hideaways out of blankets, pillows, and branches, where it holds secret meetings and storytelling sessions. She also creates instruments from natural objects, like twig flutes and pebble drums. She is friends with Stripes.
- Gigi (voiced by TBA) - A giraffe themed fluvsie who is a spontaneous and happy-go-lucky Fluvsie who dances through life with a carefree spirit. She has created her own dance style called “Twinkle Steps.” It’s full of spins, hops, and lots of giggling.
- Elen (voiced by TBA) - An elephant themed fluvsie who enjoys baking tiny, delicious treats like mini muffins and sprinkle-covered cupcakes, often experimenting with new flavors like rainbow swirl and moonlight frosting. Elen loves taking naps in sunny spots, especially on soft patches of grass where it can soak up the warm sunlight. She is also a babysitter and helps baby fluvsies.
- Rhiny (voiced by TBA) - A rhino themed fluvsie who loves making art with natural materials, using leaves, petals, and pebbles to create beautiful pictures and sculptures. Rhiny makes the most beautiful friendship bracelets for other Fluvsies.
- Lynx (voiced by TBA) - A lynx themed fluvsie who is a clever and whimsical Fluvsie with a knack for playful tricks and lighthearted mischief. He is always thinking on his feet. He is the mastermind behind fun pranks and magic tricks that never fail to bring laughter, like magically swapping its friends’ snacks or hiding silly notes in surprising places! He would also love to be a master magician.
- Felix (voiced by TBA) - A leopard themed fluvsie who loves creating tiny reading nooks in cozy spots where it can curl up with its favorite stories, usually about magical lands or brave adventures. On rainy days, Felix likes slipping on cozy socks and sliding across smooth floors, turning the Fluvsies Clubhouse into a little indoor skating rink!

- Bunny - A pet who could watch butterflies all day long.
- Birdie - A pet who only eats orange foods: carrots, oranges, pumpkins, and papaya.

On August 28th, 2024, TutoToons posted a picture on X. The picture is a black background with a present box that seems to be ajar. Inside the box is a fluvsie with blue and red eyes. Below it has numbers. It reads "4/2/26". The announcement went viral after people saw this investigation. On September 1st, they added an update in the game where they have a new fluvsie named Popcorn. The fluvsie has red and blue ears resembling 3D glasses, white fur and has a popcorn symbol on its belly. His eyes are the same colour as his ears. It can be acquired from the cinema in the mall. Inside the cinema, there is a navy-blue carpet flooring with shapes as patterns. There is also a ticket stand and a food stand. The foods in the food stand are Fries, Burger, Popcorn, Soda and Donut. There are movie posters outside the cinema and inside the cinema. Once you click the doors to open the cinema room, you will see the fluvsies that entered the room, about to sit into their seats. On the screen, you can watch the Fluvsies game trailers and compilations there. On the posters, there is a secret poster where once you click on the 2nd poster 5 times, it will transport you to a tab that reads, "We are currently making a film that is a Fluv to Luv!" If you click the Learn More button, it will open up the TutoToons website that is about the upcoming film.

Visual effects and animation[]
Both visual effects and animation were provided by Sony Pictures Imageworks and Wētā FX, who provided animation for almost all of Sony Pictures Animation's previous films, as well as visual effects for all prior Avatar films. with additional animation being provided by Cartoon Saloon. The number eventually grew to 91 animators during production. It became clear that they could not complete the film on time, so the crew was expanded further. The number had reached about 181 animators by August 2024 and at one point to 250 animators.
According to Lord and Miller, they wanted the film to feel like the viewer had "walked inside a fantasy world of fluffy critters" by making the film's animation to look like machinima compared to a traditional computer animation and mimic 2D animation like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The film's original score was composed by Hans Zimmer and Brian Eno, replacing Lord and Miller's frequent collaborator Mark Mothersbaugh. They described the composition as "big", featuring electronic ambient sounds and choirs.

Marketing[]
The marketing campaign for Fluvsies: The Movie reportedly costed $860 million dollars and began with the reveal of the teaser poster for the film. A teaser trailer for the film was premiered on YouTube, TutoToons website, X and TikTok. There is a game update based on it on Fluvsies: A Fluff to Luv. The teaser received extremely positive reviews from critics, with many pointing out its character designs and backgrounds. The teaser trailer features a hybrid orchestral cover of Roar by Katy Perry.
At the Orlando Comic-Con on August 8, 2025, twenty minutes of footage that was completed was shown to the audiences to even more positive reviews. It was followed by an official trailer on September 10, 2025, to huge praise; in its 5 hours of the trailer being revealed online gained around 88 million views and as of November 2025, it had been viewed nearly 870 million times. The international trailer was released on January 17, 2026. The final trailer was released on March 19, 2026.
A special variant for the IMAX Countdown ident were made for Fluvsies. In the variant, "PREPARE...TO...BELIEVE" changes to, "THEY ARE...A FLUV...TO LUV" in the traditional film backdrop, and at 8, the scene explodes with cotton candy clouds, jellybeans and candy, transitioning into the Fluvsiverse. Number and phrases in the countdown are in the Hairy Beard font in a puffy textured 3D font. At 5, the screen will fly through the Fluvsiverse, Fluvtown, Fluvsies Clubhouse, Puffieclouds and Savorygoods, R.B.U.'s lab, Brushie's makeup store, pet shop and Bowie's clothing shop through the FluvMall. At 3, the screen digs underground to the location of The Guileful. The mouse was seen holding a sign with untidy and sketchy handwriting that reads, "EARTH SHATTERING SOUND!!!" then the underground started to shake violently, and the camera digs back up. At the end, the ring passes over the IMAX logo with a fluffy texture. It wipes and turns the logo into the regular IMAX logo. As the ring moves off-screen, the background fades out, followed by the IMAX logo itself.

Sony partnered with Hyundai Mobility Company, making Fluvsies: The Movie sponsor on their road.
Subway, McDonalds, Burger King[]
It comes along with collectable action figures of all the fluvsies. There are also rare fluvsies collectables like Midnight, Heart, Star, Spirit Star, Firefly, Rusty, Pearl, Rainbow, Ruby, Diamond, Space, Moon, Roxie (contains music note stickers) and Shadow.
Kraft Mac & Cheese[]
The Kraft Heinz Company produced its mac and cheese products as a promotional tie-in of the film.

TutoToons have made tons of merchandise inspired by the film such as novelty T-shirts, sandals, shoes, coats, boots, bracelets, hats, caps, glasses, pants, bento boxes, thermos containers, lunch bags, and backpacks.

TutoToons will release more plushies that are based on the characters.
Fandango[]
Fandango has a promotion with Cherrios. It can be seen outside the Cherrios boxes when you can get a free movie ticket when buying 3 participating products in one transaction. There is also a free movie poster inside.

Fluvsies: The Movie was theatrically released by Sony Pictures Releasing on April 2, 2026, in commemoration of the game's 6th anniversary.
Home media[]
The film streamed on Peacock 45 days afterwards. It was released on digital on November 17, 2026, and released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Blu-Ray Disc, Blu-Ray 3D, Ultra HD Blu-Ray (with IMAX Enhanced), Blu-Ray 4K, and DVD on May 26, 2026. The Blu-Ray and DVD releases include shorts such as Midnight's Rock Concert, The Baby Fluvsie Daycare, Basketball Practice, Fluvsies... In Reality! and Oh Fluv Off, and on Apple TV+ on August 17, 2026. It headed to Amazon Prime Video on December 22, 2026, and on Hulu on March 30, 2027.

- At one scene from the start of the movie, Goddess of the Fluvsiverse, Star, let out a powerful tracker beam that defeated her and King Rakoon I.
- Midnight and other Fluvsies beat up the cloud of Guileful.
- At the final battle, Midnight, Moon and Space would turn into Spirit Star and let out the Galactic Beam of Death, defeating King Rakoon II and his minions.

- The Fluvsies Plush Toy is hidden in the Fluvsies Clubhouse at the cushions.
- This film is TutoToons' first ever movie which also made TutoToons and Fluvsies very popular.
