Amanda the Adventurer 2 is a 2031 American supernatural mystery horror film based on DreadXP's Amanda the Adventurer video game series. A sequel to Amanda the Adventurer (2029), with Stiles White returning to direct the sequel from a screenplay written by producer Patrick Ewald, creator of the Amanda the Adventurer video game series and the CEO of DreadXP. The film stars Noah Schnapp, Yara Shahidi, Kassidy Geraldine, Keegan-Michael Key, Camryn Jones, Ben Schwartz, and Vin Diesel all reprising their roles from the first film, with Bowen Yang and Ving Rhames joining the cast.
In April 2029, Ewald stated that there could be a second Amanda the Adventurer film, based on the events of the second game, if the first film were successful. Schnapp revealed the development of a sequel in July 2029, with Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions officially confirming it three months later. Filming began in mid-July 2031 and wrapped up in December 2031. The movie was filmed in Ohio, using buildings that look similar to the ones in the game. This film was surrounding communities on a budget of $40 million.
Amanda the Adventurer 2 is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 24, 2031, by Universal Pictures. The final film in the trilogy, Amanda the Adventurer 3, is scheduled to be released in 2033.
The film got a PG-13 rating for strong violent content, bloody images, and language.

Noah Schnapp as Riley Park, the main protagonist of the film who went with a masked figure to the Kensdale Library after experiencing the trauma he went through in the first film. He digs deeper into the mystery of Amanda the Adventurer using the tape-playing TV in the library's kids corner.
Yara Shahidi as Masked Figure/Joanne Cook, an associate and good pal of Kate Park who barely got away from the disaster that caused Kate's death in the flashback at the beginning of the first movie. In this movie, she helps out Riley to dig deeper into the mystery of Amanda the Adventurer. She keeps in touch with Riley using walkie-talkies. At the end of the film, she reveals her identity to Riley and right when she was about to destroy the tapes, the Wooly Entity came in and trapped her, she gave Riley one of the tapes and tells Riley to escape using the emergency escape hatch before getting brutally ripped apart by the Wooly Entity off-screen foreshadowing the third and final film.
Kassidy Geraldine as Rebecca Colton, Sam Colton's daughter and the voice of Amanda on the show, she mysteriously went missing alongside her father.
Keegan-Michael Key as Sam Colton, Rebecca Colton's father and the creator of Hameln's popular children's show, Amanda the Adventurer. He mysteriously went missing alongside his daughter.

Camryn Jones as Amanda, a demonic entity who takes the form of a little girl in a kids' show, quite possibly Rebecca Colton trapped inside, she tries to encourage the kids at home to come with her and do stuff her way while her "sidekick" Wooly tries to stop her. She is also the tertiary antagonist of the film.
Ben Schwartz as Wooly, an anthropomorphic sheep who is aware of the downfall of Amanda the Adventurer and tries to inform Riley to stop the tape and destroy all of them, before he could say that, Amanda stops him. In this film, he is pretty much the same, but also now has a grudge against Riley. He is also the anti-hero of the film.
Bowen Yang as The Opossum, an opossum that Amanda and Wooly loathe because of his despicable behavior throughout the tapes trying to ruin their day. Near the end of the film, he tries to call out for Joanne, making the opossum quite possibly Joanne's long-lost little brother trapped inside as an opossum. He is also the main tritagonist of the film.
Vin Diesel as The Entity, a demonic entity that has the same hairdo as Amanda. It is a creature with sharp teeth and at least thirty eyes that is hunting down anyone who is associated with destroying the tapes, and tries to kill Riley before he digs deeper into the truth. It is also the main antagonist of the film.
Ving Rhames as The Wooly Entity, a demonic entity that resembles Wooly. It is a sheep-like creature with sharp teeth and at least thirty eyes that is hunting down anyone who is associated with destroying the tapes, and tries to kill Riley before he digs deeper into the truth. It is also the secondary antagonist of the film.
