9: Salvation (stylized as SALVATI9N) is an 3D-animated sci-fi fantasy action/adventure drama directed by Shane Acker that serves as a direct sequel to 9. Elijah Wood and Jennifer Conelly reprise their roles as 9 and 7, while Lee Tockar and Tom Kenny get the roles of Starkstalk and Barrenous; two machines that will avenge the Fabrication Machine from its demise.

Summary

After the events of the first film, 9, 7, 3 and 4 have now kept the talisman safe from the machine empire. But there was more that will avenge the Fabrication Machine from its defeat. So, they will meet unlikely others to unite a team to restore all of mankind once more.

Meanwhile, the scientist begins the journey for redemption to find the rest of his creations.

• 9 (Elijah Wood) - The one that has the scientist's soul, bringing the traits of kindness, thoughtfulness and sincerity. He is the main protagonist of the movie.
• 7 (Jennifer Conelly) - The one that has the scientist's combat portion and is a rebel taking risks in an adventure while caring for 3 and 4. She is the main deuteragonist of the movie.
• 3 and 4 - The twins that have the scientist's historian portion, and the two project images from their eyes to share information with the others.
• F (OC) (Grey DeLisle-Griffin) - The one that has Marinda's spunky part and is the brains and techniques of the group. She is also from Canada.
